The American diplomat Douglas Jones was appointed as the US ambassador.
Mr. Jones has extensive diplomatic experience and was entrusted with the task in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Likewise, expectations are high considering the difficult political situation in this country. In the time ahead, we will see whether tensions will subside and a constructive political dialogue will be found.
